His solo exhibitions include Eleven Rivington NY; Galerie Nathalie Obadia, Paris and Brussels; and Alan Koppel Gallery, Chicago, IL (2008). Group shows include The Coke Factory at Ritter / Zamet, London; Double Take at Public Art Fund at Metrotech Center, Brooklyn; and Linkage at Museum of Contemporary Art, Detroit and a number of major art fairs including Nada Miami and Fiac Paris. His work is widely collected in the USA and Europe.
DeLucia’s artistic practice uses objects of industry and mass production, which he transforms into floor and wall based sculpture. The process used in the wood pieces is labour intensive and unique. Initially using computer-modeling forms he then works physically with the wood cutting it, burning it and painting on it producing cutting edge and contemporary musings on geometry and abstraction. In other works Delucia uses found objects, which he transforms into witty sculptures and installations, inspired by European Dada and surrealist sculptures.
